Summer is a time of constant tree maintenance: Summer pruning is carried out from beginning of December to mid January. It consist of removing unfruitful wood that is growing too vigorously, and opening up the canopy to that all important sunlight. Fruit thinning is carried out beginning of January. It consist of removing fruit that is not up to our quality standards.
